He is barely breathing inside his cartoon box he was brought in with. Not a single hair in his body is moving. A statue made of mud and glue , a statue submissive to everything that happens around him. A statue in desperate fear of what is to come next. The remnants of once a puppy , barely alive stands as we listen to his story in shock..
This is how we met Pascal in the shelter. He has been brought there just as we walked in in a cartoon box. What happened to him is beyond the limit of your wildest imagination. He is the victim of a group of kids who found it funny to drown him in glue and drag him in the mud. The glue became a second skin in time and as thick as the cement preventing the blood flow to several points in his body.
As we take him out of his box and put on the ground , Pascal moans in pain dragging his two feet. They seem to be broken during the accident. He finds a dark corner in the examination room where he hides from us. His stare meets ours in this incredible moment of shock : betrayal , terror and pain seemed to have almost materialized in his broken soul. He is just a baby yet but his eyes look much older. He is expecting the worst.
An innocent soul waiting for a final judgment in the public shelter after being sıbject to extreme abuse…
We could not leave Pascal to his fate there after the nightmare he went through. Without thinking a second , we organized his transfer to our clinic as he requires a much thorough examination and specialized treatment.
Pascal suffers from extreme damage to his skin by the burn of the chemical . A thorough blood test will show the extent of the damage the kids done on him however our doctors can say that his recovery will not be easy. His general state is stable , he will be receiving medical baths for his skin , special homeopathic medicines for the burns and his fur to regrow.
We will need every help to restore Pascal’s health to what it was before the cruel kids did this to him. Pascal is in the best animal hospital in the country and is about to start a long journey here…Please do not leave him alone in his fight.
