EMERGENCY ! LOLA WON’T BREATHE ANYMORE IF WE DON’T REMOVE HER TUMOR ! HELP HER SURVIVE !
LOLA is under threat of a FAST growing INSIDIOUS horrible spinal cord tumor, which needs to be operated NOW to be stopped from SUFFOCATING her.
Lola was an outside cat, living in the yard of an elderly and poor woman, who didn’t notice any lumps on his back or stomach initially. About two months ago, she suspected that something was off with Lola : he had sores that seemed not to heal; he was losing weight rapidly and it seemed that he had difficulty eating and swallowing. Additionally, she had two tiny lumps on her back and on her stomach.
Without the financial means to take her to a vet, she left things be, hoping Lola will get better on her own.
BUT in two months’ those lumps on Lola’s back went from being tiny bumps to MASSIVE growths. That is when she knew something horrible was going on, and she called us for help in tears and desperation.
She was right. Lola’s situation is very unfortunate. The tumor on her back is a very hard lump and it has penetrated deep into her spinal cord, which might soon INTERVENE her breathing. That’s it! Lola might SUFFOCATE if we don’t act immediately.
Lola’s lumps need to be biopsied. It is very likely that this poor little girl will have to undergo chemotherapy after her tumor is removed. However, the source of about 9 percent of spinal tumors in cats can never be determined, which increases the chance of metastasis in the future. For Lola, we know there is a good chance she will survive, if her tumor doesn’t stop her from BREATHING.
There are no ifs, not buts, no bargains. We simply don’t have any WAITING TIME. We can’t lose a SECOND to save Lola from asphyxiation. The first emergency step is to REMOVE the tumor threatening her life. We will then know more about the nature of the condition underlying it.
Please help LOLA go through her operation!
We CANNOT waste a second!
